After a challenging period in my own adolescence I went on to spend over ten years working with people who are homeless. I worked in a number of settings including hostels, drop in centres and street outreach.

Alongside my private practice I now work part time for a foster care agency providing therapeutic support to foster carers and the children and adolescents that have joined their families.

I have lots of experience being alongside people who have experienced family and relationship breakdown, trauma, abuse, addiction, depression and anxiety, loss, and mental health issues.

I believe passionately that everyone should have a supportive, non-judgemental, attentive companion through life’s ups and downs. I have been lucky enough to have such allies, and I would like to offer this support to others.

I am a UKCP accredited and BACP registered psychotherapist. I graduated with an MA in Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy from The Karuna Institute in 2018. I have a Post Graduate Diploma in the Therapeutic Application of the Arts from The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education.
