In Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy the relationship between the therapist and the client is based on equality. You set the agenda and there is an understanding that you are the only expert on yourself. I bring the skills needed for the exploration, and encouragement and support when things get painful or difficult.
I believe that at the core we are all mentally healthy. I also believe that to suffer, feel pain and to not feel mentally healthy sometimes is natural. Finally I believe that it is possible to journey back towards greater happiness and health enriched by the things we can learn when we suffer.
My aim is to offer you a safe, supportive, confidential space to be heard in your story so far, supported in the moment, and resourced and empowered for the future.
